This LP was a revelation to myself and many others here in the Twin Cities when it was released in 1973. It served as a guidepost to those of us who were trying new ways to go accoustically, without falling into the folk, country, blugrass thing that was popular at the time.

The membership of The Windows was orginally sourced from a prior band called Raisin’ Kane which started life back in 1975. Larry Brewer was the catalyst for the change away from country rock to something more commercial. They were regional favourites throughout the southeastern parts of the USA during most of the 80’s, and had two stable line-ups during that time.
