DRAMA is a young band from Uruguay who plays a lyrical progressive rock based on symphonic keyboards plus melodic guitar, with good Spanish-language vocals. They possess something much more valuable: a cool air and vigorous talent, inside the spectrum progressive Latin American. It sounds very South American to me.

On this, his 3rd solo album, we again meet a different side of the highly talented multi instrumentalist, vocalist and composer Christiaan Bruin. On his debut album he, in a proggified way, he leaned influences from 60’s with the most obvious being The Beatles and The Beach Boys. On the follow-up, Making Sense, we got much more of 70’s Genesis and 80’s IQ into the mix and now, with the new one we get a contemporary post prog sounding album (with a slight Genesis feel to it here and there). But…whatever style he fronts it has a distinct “Chris style” regarding the sound and compositions.

When Yes added Jon Davison of Glass Hammer as its new lead singer, that didn’t mean the end of his prog band. In fact, Glass Hammer is at work on a new album between legs of the on-going Yes tour in support of 2011?s Fly From Here — with Davison again on vocals.Yes has even allowed Glass Hammer albums to be sold at its most recent string of concerts, which resume on July 19, 2012. Every album that Davison autographs is another potential new fan for the grass-roots American prog-rock outfit, which is subsidizing its own new recording.
