? would like to begin by mentioning what impressed me the most since minute one. The voice! It’s solid and “thick”, it’s powerful and passionate. Falsettos are a parameter for sure as well as a fabulous vibrato, almost operatic! On the other hand, it possesses so much roughness, it can Rock as hell! The Greek band is here to suggest some of their own things around Metal, served with lyrical extensions; I’d say it’s a pure Metal band, featuring Progressive elements. Motif is epical and majestic, choruses are totally melodic; you are about to listen to some Doom tunes, that’s also inside the package. For instance, “Cage of sins” is one of those songs…

Stone Sour – House of Gold and Bones Part 1 (2012)

Stone Sour will release the first installment of the double album “House of Gold & Bones Part 1” on October 23rd, 2012, with the second installment to follow in 2013. The album was recorded at Sound Farm Studios just outside of the band’s native Des Moines, Iowa with producer David Bottrill. Samuel Hallkvist – Variety of Loud (2012)

I am Samuel, a Swedish guitar player living in Copenhagen, Denmark. I play music with hints of jazz, country, metal, noise and blooming cherry trees.
