Hard rock (or heavy rock) is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music which has its earliest roots in mid-1960s garage rock, blues rock and psychedelic rock. It is typified by a heavy use of aggressive vocals, distorted electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, and often accompanied with pianos and keyboards.

We’re finally ready to complete the project, but are in need of procuring additional funding to make it happen. We’ve been working in a great studio in Conversano (BA Italy) with top gear, engineers and with the Michael C. Ross offline consulence (L.A. engineer producer of world famous artists like Christina Aguilera, Vanessa Carlton and many other). Our album will feature 10 tracks of our best songs + 2 covers.
We´ve also produced our first video that proved to be a massive amount of work we’ re very proud of today. For this we must thank the guys from Basix Communication and all of our friends that gave us an hand. The result it´s amazing. You’ll see it very soon before campaign end!

One of the earlier band request when this blog was still young. Gandhi’s Gunn is an Italian four-piece, and they just released their second full-length; “The Longer The Beard The Harder The Sound”. This is heavy straightforward stoner/ hard rock with an excessive amount of hair on it’s back. Thick riffs, furious grooves, heavy vocals & some unexpected songwriting/ concepts (‘flood’ is a fine example). Not the best or most original sounds out there, but a solid album by a band that brings us back to the essence of heavy rock music. For fans of Mustasch, Nightstalker & Planet Of Zeus!
