Hard rock (or heavy rock) is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music which has its earliest roots in mid-1960s garage rock, blues rock and psychedelic rock. It is typified by a heavy use of aggressive vocals, distorted electric guitars, bass guitar, drums, and often accompanied with pianos and keyboards.
FEMME FATALE, one of the best melodic hard rock bands from the 80s with a fearless female lead singer in Lorraine Lewis, are thrilled to be releasing their 1988 live show from Normal, IL, where they opened for the solid and amazing Cheap Trick. Additionally, there are very good unreleased demos and a live cover of AC/DC’s ‘It’s A Long Way To The Top’.
