Glam rock (also known as glitter rock) is a style of rock and pop music that developed in the United Kingdom in the early 1970s, which was performed by singers and musicians who wore outrageous clothes, makeup and hairstyles, particularly platform-soled boots and glitter. The flamboyant costumes and visual styles of glam performers were often camp or androgynous, and have been connected with new views of gender roles.
Speaking about the meaning behind the title of BACKYARD BABIES’ forthcoming album, “Four By Four”, Borg said: “‘Four By Four’. It’s, like, BACKYARD BABIES is like a four-wheel truck, you know?! It goes through mud and fucking terrain. And if one wheel, one bandmember, stops working, the three others carry the vehicle.”

SNAKEPIT REBELS were initially named DREAM POLICE, under which name the band released the ‘Sex Booze And Tattoos’ single in 1990. However, a Norwegian band bearing the same moniker soon prompted a namechange and the single was re-released the following year.

From what I recall these guys weren’t so bad. I quite liked them to be honest. Reminds me of Dirty Cowboys or a lesser KK Wilde. Not great, but pretty good for solid hard rock.
Tracii Guns is an American guitarist best known as the founder of glam metal group L.A. Guns as well as the supergroups Brides of Destruction and Contraband.
