Back in 1982, Rox released a three song EP called Hot Love In The City. The band was comprised of Kevin Kozak (vocals), Red Hot Red (guitars), Paul Diamond (guitars), Gary Maunsell (bass) and Bernie Emerald (drums). The three songs on the Hot Love In The City EP were “Hot Love In The City,” “Do Ya Feel Like Lovin’” and “Love Ya Like A Diamond.”

“Hard Rock in the verses, AOR in the choruses, progressive rock in the instrumental sections, a somewhat simplistic way in trying to describe Wonderland. The best example of this is perhaps the epic “ballad turns into hard rock turns into progressive rock”-song, In Too Deep with it´s wonderful guitar- and synthsolos. 8 out of 10!”

The title and cover photo come from my Rutgers University senior yearbook photo. My young nieces and nephews found it at my mom’s house and starting texting me how funny it was and when I saw it again after so many years, I agreed! I majored in communication, so it was just a matter of adding the “Breakdown” to it which is obviously, something you never want to happen in comedy.

Is it still useful to present the Swedish Punk Rocker / Indus of THE LEATHER NUN? Surely not, but it is useful to remind the “young people” that this group began its career in 1979. After a few years of absences in the 90’s-2000, the group returned to the front of the stage with WHATEVER (2016). They are back again with this VIVE LA FETE! VIVE LA REVOLUTION which will be released on May 5th.
