Joan Jett and the Blackhearts – Real Wild Child: Video Anthology [2003, 2 DVD]
Joan Jett’s career began at the tender age of 15 with her all-girl band of leather-clad rockers The Runaways. Despite having a huge influence over several generations of female musicians (most notably with their single “Cherry Bomb”) the band split, and Joan formed the highly successful Blackhearts. Best known for the huge selling “I Love Rock N’ Roll,” which spent two months at number one on the Billboard chart, the group followed up with a series of hits including “I Hate Myself For Loving You,” “Bad Reputation,” and “Do You Wanna Touch Me?” This video anthology collects together all of the above songs, and a whole lot more, including rarely seen outtakes, television appearances, and previously unavailable videos.
