Lenita Erickson – Lenita Erickson (1997)
The American singer Lenita Erickson, after she had sung in 1991 in the band “Madame X”, begun in the mid-nineties with the recordings of a solo album. At the Dream Circle label in 1996, her eponymous debut album was released, included ten songs and offer brisk melodic rock with a slight pop rock twist. Singer Lenita Erickson does it’s job more than well and convinces above all with the song “Wounded Heart”, “Can not Find Your Way” and Two Hearts Divide “, which probably are the best on the record.
To support the album, Lenita Erickson did a small European club tour in September 1996 with Bruce Kulick as her guitarist. The debut album was re-released in a later edition with a different cover. Because of the star density of the musicians and of course because of the high quality of musical output and the excellent vocal performance by Lenita Erickson, heard their debut album in a well-stocked female melodic rock CD collection. The song “You’re Gonna Be The One” co-written by Paul Stanley, while Paul provides guitars on this song as well.
