Dead Star Renegade – Blackwing 2011

Hometown: Melbourne, Australia.Dead Star Renegade was born in The Basement of Melbourne’s iconic Esplanade Hotel on 20.08.2009. We released our first Single ‘Tommy Gun’ in Nov. of 2010 and in March of 2011 followed that up with our debut album ‘Blackwing’.

Since the albums release the band have embarked on a steady stream of local and interstate gigs and in Nov of 2012 we launched our debut video for the album’s title track. Interestingly the video was shot and edited by the band using only an iphone and some editing software for the princely sum of $0.00.

We will spend the first half of 2013 hard at work writing new material for our sophomore album before we hit the road again later in the year.
