Originally formed by Sammy T, Los Angeles heavy metal band Reog bridges the gap of modern vs traditional, heavy vs soft, harsh vs beautiful, self vs all existence. Straight off their first international tour, the band issued the 2024 self titled release which is a statement piece to share with the world what the band is about in past, present and future, and while the band can continue to evolve, the brand of melodic metal rooted in 70’s and 80’s rock and metal music featuring a big epic sound, vocals built on a memorable melody, and fast but tasteful guitar harmonies, can live on.
