WHITESNAKE – Monsters Of Rock Buenos Aires 1997 [Alive The Live Japan release only] (2022)
Only released in Japan by the local specialized label ‘Alive The Live’, here’s WHITESNAKE performance at the Monsters Of Rock festival in Buenos Aires, 1997.
After releasing the studio album ‘Restless Heart’, Whitesnake embarked in a World Tour including many South America countries. One of these stops was headlining the Monsters Of Rock in Argentina, a festival including Queensryche, Megadeth, and others.
For this tour David Coverdale assembled a very strong line up including long time member Adrian Vandenberg, Mr. Mister’s Steve Farris on guitar too, bass-master Tony Franklin, ex Heart / Coverdale-Page drummer Denny Carmassi, and keyboard player Derek Hilland (REO Speedwagon, Foreigner).
The show include a couple of the new album tracks, but Coverdale selected many classics as concert promoter suggested the audience was eager to hear Whitesnake late ’70s/ ’80s tunes. Sound quality is very good.
Highly Recommended
