Maxxwell – Slapshot 2012
Of course, the term originates from the Slapshot Hockey, and of course are not the Swiss Maxxwell the first volume, which is dedicated to a sports team (in this case the southern hockey club EHC Freiburg) a hymn. What wonder that the already traditionally loyal format hard rock group yet predictable and universal sounds. Must be bad but.
“One for all, all for one” platitudes in leveraged with a crowbar chorus of the title track left out. Riffs of the neighbors were staged bold and meet even the highest of quality standards, rather than somehow to wallpaper a soundscape Furthermore Maxxwell are much harder than their compatriots, especially the chewing GOTTHARD just stale bread, which the knocker “Do not You Bite” (definitely Metal) is the actual requirement of this song EP.
“The Devil Walks With Her” has the best chorus of studio songs, and “Live Fast Die Last” to its name in the search lockstep with dark undertones and all the glory. Also likely Suppigers voice go down to every fan of this oil as Mucke: Jeff Scott Soto with no soul would be a good point of comparison. The live songs sound does not stink, and if Maxxwell soon play a little liberated, the third disc could be really cool.
