Britton – Unleashed 1998 lossless
It took Britton 10 years to make a follow up to their debut album Rock Hard that came out 1988 on Backstage Records. It was re-releast last year. On the debut Britton played cheerful 80’s Melodic hardrock with AOR- influences such acts like Firehouse, Autograph and Dokken. On Unleashed it?s nice to hear that they have keept the sound and not changed it like many other acts have.
Unleashed is a good melodic rock/AOR song that reminds of Idle Cure and Autograph with nice harmony vocals and guitar riffs. Keeper of the flame starts of with acoustic guitars but turns into a good melodic up-tempo song in the chorus. Easy to use has some great harmony voclas and sounds like Firehouse. The album ends up with a ballad called With each other. This album is filled with cheerful 80’s melodic hardrock with AOR-influences and if you are into some great 80?s acts like Firehouse, Autograph, Dokken and White Lion maybe this is something for you and if you got the Rock Hard album then you know what this is and you won’t get disappointed
