Ouija – Addiction (2013)
As Ouija boards conjure spirits, the band OUIJA conjures the demons of Progressive rock ! In this first album, “Addiction” (Musea Parallèle, 2013), the trio transports us into its musical universe, with sophisticated but still accessible arrangements.
Here’s an explosion of musical influences. The works of Robert FRIPP (Along with David BOWIE, Peter GABRIEL, Brian ENO, Andy SUMMERS…) has had a huge impact on the music of these musicians. In this piece of work, OUIJA evokes the haunting spirit of KING CRIMSON, YES, GENESIS, performed with the power of a band such as TOOL… A must for all Progressive rock fans !!!
