Flor De Loto – Volver a Nacer 2012
now/good plaers
Today we return to LOTUS FLOWER phonograph and a new job: it is “Born Again”, catalog of new versions of songs from their first three albums (one of his self-titled 2005 debut album, three from the second item “Mother Earth” 2007 and four of “Bizarre Worlds”, the same as dating from 2009). The quintet of Alonso Herrera (guitars & 1st voice), Alexander Jarrin (bass), Junior Resume (flutes, winds Andean charango), Carlos Llontop (drums, vocals) and Ignacio Flores (guitars and vocals) is increased by the presence of González García Agustina vocalist: she generally assumed choirs, but also brings the 1st additional voice in the new version of ‘Disappearing’, and rightly demands implicit registration and cadence carry one of the most notorious examples of variation around this revised material. Officially presented at a concert held in the Auditorium of Alliance Francaise on the first day of this December, “Volver A Nacer” is a real renaissance of the eight pieces selected for the occasion, a careful remodeling work based on old ideas the adjustment to the sound structure created since the time of gestation of “Crystal Empire”, the album 2011.
